Open Enrollment Online Training

Although using Originator Pro is remarkably easy-it was designed to be intuitive-any new technology takes getting used to, so give yourself a head start by taking one or more of Netupdate's live open enrollment online training courses. They are all free. We do ask that you pre-register through Customer Support to reserve your space. Spaces are limited for each session, and are given out on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please review the “Live Online Training Requirements” section below for additional details. Participants should understand basic computer terminology and operations (navigating a Windows-based application, using Microsoft Internet Explorer; using a mouse), and introductory residential loan origination terminology, processes, and techniques.

All training sessions are presented weekly using web conferencing and tele-conferencing, and are about 45 minutes to 1 hour. All sessions are open so that our trainer can adapt the curriculum to the needs of each audience. To enroll for a training session, send your contact information, topics of interest (Loan Officer overview, System Admin or Branch Manager overview), and which of the following time options you prefer.

Live Online Training Requirements

All course attendees are required to have a computer and Internet connection, as this is the means by which the training session will be visually presented. Using the WebEx® web conferencing service, your computer screen will show the same view as the instructor's computer screen while the software program is demonstrated. If you have not previously participated in a WebEx session on the computer you are going to use for training, please log in a few minutes early so that you can download the WebEx software.

A separate phone line is also necessary for the teleconference portion of the training. As the instructor guides participants through the program features and functions they will have the opportunity to ask questions and/or make comments at anytime.

Private On-Line Training

Netupdate's private on-line training allows a team of loan officers to attend a live, in-depth Originator Pro training session from one or more locations via Web conferencing. Training will be specifically tailored to meet the needs of the company:

  • Customized to the client's specific situation, technology and workflow (custom materials are available for an additional fee).
  • Online training is limited to 8 attendees per session.
  • Includes setup call with company contact before class, and follow-up call.
  • Five days notice required for setting up training (additional time required if custom materials are requested)
  • Training will be by appointment.

Cost: $75.00 per attendee per session.

On-Site Training

  1. Conducted at client's facility or Netupdate training facility.
  2. If held at client's facility, client to provide training room, computers and AV equipment.
  3. All travel and lodging expense incurred by Netupdate trainers is to be paid by client(s)*.
  4. Training materials provided (customized materials are available for an additional fee).
  5. Discussion is client-specific.
  6. Includes setup call with company contact.

Cost: $1,200.00 per training day.

*Training days can be shared with another local Originator Pro customer to reduce costs.
